Addx Awarded Seaport-e Contract
ALEXANDRIA, VA – May 30, 2008 - Addx Corporation, a principal provider of management consulting, technology, and program services to the Federal Government, today announced that the US Navy awarded Seaport-e, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract that will allow the company to compete for a variety of command task orders from Naval Sea Systems, Naval Air Systems, Space and Naval Warfare Systems, Naval Supply Systems, Military Sealift, and Naval Facilities Engineering commands; Strategic Systems Programs; Office of Naval Research; Defense Threat Reduction Agency; and Marine Corps.
The contract stem from the SeaPort Enhanced Rolling Admissions solicitation and has a one-year base period with one five-year award term and one additional four-year award term. There are 22 functional service areas, including Research and Development Support; Engineering System Engineering and Process Engineering Support; Modeling, Simulation, Stimulation and Analysis Support; Information System Development, Information Assurance and Information Technology Support; and Software Engineering, Development, Programming and Network Support.
Addx supports mission critical programs in a variety of government departments and agencies, including the Office of the Secretary of Defense, the Energy Information Administration, the Transportation Security Administration, and the Secretary of the Air Force Warfighting Integration CIO. Its efforts have resulted in numerous recognitions and accolades, including Transportation Security Administration’s Small Business of the Year and a 2007 Inc. 500 honoree.
This contract award is coincides with and further enables Addx’s expansion into Modeling and Simulation and Infrastructure Protection. The company’s Director of Modeling & Simulation, Dr. Mark Nesselrode explains, “I am looking foward to continuing our service to the US Navy.”
