Barbara CassVP, Business Operations
As Senior Vice President, Business Operations, Ms. Cass oversees all corporate back office business operations including Finance & Accounting, Contracts, and Administration. She directly provides financial and managerial oversight to improve governance, accounting, and internal control processes.
Ms. Cass joined Addx at its inception in 2002, when she was appointed Director, Financial and Accounting Services. She brings a wealth of executive-level experience, providing oversight of accounting, budgeting, and financial operations, including information technology, venture relations, and asset management. She leads a team of experts who develop corporate policies and procedures, perform annual budget formulation, monitor cost variances, generate cost proposals, manage account system operations, and oversee audit interface relations for numerous corporate and government clients.
Over her time in Addx, Ms. Cass performed two major accounting system implementations to support Addx growth. The most recent Deltek Costpoint implementation, provides Addx a superior and DCAA compliant financial platform.
Ms. Cass began her career in 1985 as a Business Administrator for TRW Federal Systems Group, where she provided financial forecasting, planning support, and control support for commercial and government customers. Later, she built her own business, providing bookkeeping and payroll activities for several small businesses. Ms. Cass possesses extensive financial and operational expertise.
She holds a BS in Business Administration from Clarion University.
