As Director, Recruiting Services, Ms. Smith leads a recruiting team to staff Addx's wide-ranging solutions and services projects to meet each customer’s mission critical objectives.
As Director of Recruiting Services, Ms. Smith has full oversight responsibility for full lifecycle recruitment and execution, supporting more than 20 managers, averaging 80 to 100 openings at a time. Ms. Smith develops recruiting strategies to ensure that job openings are filled in a timely, cost-effective manner and that recruiting strategies align with the customer’s requirements, policies, and goals. Her skills range from filling derivative classified positions, such as nuclear scientist, environmental engineer, program executive, and various IT technicians to administrative support positions, such as executive assistant. She focuses on hiring results-driven candidates, maintaining a retention rate of 90 percent for first-time hires across multiple employment positions. Ms. Smith applies short-fuse quick ramp-ups, often filling upward of 100 positions in less than 30 days.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Smith supported a technical company as a recruiting specialist, supporting a large number of hiring managers. She has maintained management positions since 1999, executing viable recruitment processes for organizations such as Lockheed Martin’s recruitment center, filling numerous positions within a day’s time. She is a subject-matter resource, providing valuable insight on growing industry trends in jobs, salaries, job development, job analysis, development of salary ranges, and employee retention.
Ms. Smith holds a BA in Journalism from the University of Maryland.
