John MillwardVP, Corporate Capture
As Vice President, Corporate Capture, Mr. Millward is responsible for partnering with our customers to deliver mission support services, including program management, information technology, and engineering solutions that address significant mission challenges across a wide range of federal agencies.
Mr. Millward is an efficient, results-oriented professional with more than seven years of experience in understanding the Federal market. He has the corporate skills required to respond to opportunities. He provides a full range of activities in business development, proposal management, and strategic business-to-business partnerships. Mr. Millward has conducted market analyses, using GovWin tools and open-source tools to analyze future business opportunities. His business development support ranges from researching potential opportunities and providing in-depth market/competitive analysis to leading multiple capture efforts. He has demonstrated the ability to rapidly identify, analyze, and disseminate critical information that could have a significant impact on the company. Mr. Millward develops comprehensible plans for pursuing opportunities in the pipeline and facilitates growth leadership reviews to assess the progression of opportunities through the multiple qualification gates. He has been instrumental in developing strategies that capitalize on Addx’s strengths to help customers solve complex problems and more effectively serve their stakeholders.
Mr. Millward’s skills and abilities have caused his career to rapidly progress in a short time. Beginning his career as an Analyst, within three years he was promoted to Lead Analyst/Project Manager. He then became a market analyst. Within a year, he progressed to Capture Manager. He now functions as a Director. Mr. Millward contributes to and leads winning proposals and capture teams while identifying potential future opportunities. He has increased business development velocity by 115 percent over the past four and a half years. In 2013 he led captures that resulted in more than $78 million in new contract wins.
Mr. Millward holds a BS in Marketing from Shippensburg University.
