Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Policy (OUSD(P))

As OUSD(P)’s Director for Stability Operations, Mr. Camacho provided policy recommendations on a wide range of issues, including Irregular Warfare, the President’s Policy Directive on Global Development, and NATO’s Comprehensive Approach.

Joint Staff, J8, Force Structure, Resources and Assessment Directorate

An Addx team of expert analysts and planners supported the J8 Global Posture, Strategy and Plans Branch, drafting strategy and programming documents and developing the Global Force Management Implementation Guidance (GFMIG) and Global Force Management Allocation Plan (GFMAP). They also assessed traditional and nontraditional (Irregular Warfare) challenges to help the branch implement and revise the Defense Strategy and Joint Theater Campaign Analysis.
